Team Britannia
Team Britannia is an annual team made up of
individuals who want to go on tour. This allows
players the chance to play in a team of players
they are not use to competing with.
Individuals apply to Britannia Lacrosse stating
their lacrosse background. From this, a
selection panel chose a team which include
people from all over the UK (and potentially the
world) who are similar in ability.
This team tours under the Britannia name and
Britannia colours, competing fiercely to beat
high school, club, college and international
teams, as well as other touring teams. These
intense matches are balanced with the social
side of the tour. The Britannia team will enjoy
after-match gatherings and events hosted by
their opposition.
Summer 2007 marks out first Team Britannia; We
have chosen to tour the states of Connecticut
and New York on the east coast of America.
Britannia Lacrosse is currently recruiting
players for a tour to Germany and Prague. This
will take place in July 2007; the duration of
this tour will be 8-12 days. There is no age
limitation and all playing standards are
